My product looks or smells different. Is it still okay to use?

You may notice from time to time that color or scent of your Paula's Choice product varies. In most cases, this is completely normal and the direct result of not using artificial coloring agents or fragrances, which can be a problem for skin. The exception to this is if the product is used beyond the marked PAO (period after opening) icon on the back or expiration date stamped on the container. The PAO or expiration date confirms that the product you are using is guaranteed effective for the time frame indicated, and is best replaced after that.
